If you struggle, you are truly not struggling alone.
Mental health isn’t a constant. Healing from trauma is not a straight line. Those have been two of the greatest challenges for me as I’ve worked to heal from PTSD.
And I mean worked.
Seven years has sometimes felt like an eternity, and sometimes a blink. But over the last seven years, and tomorrow will be seven since my brain broke, I have found joy and strength and courage and resilience that I had not thought possible.
It came in very small steps. It came in backwards steps. It came in side steps. It came in tear-filled leaps. And it happened because I was determined to not give up.
I have seen too many miracles to doubt that they are possible, and I am so grateful that I have been able to look up and see them. I hope that for you too.

I’m happy you are back here ❤️ I missed you. I’m proud of you. We are warriors and always together in this 💪
